Clear skies for my first try at star trail photography.
104 frames @ 30 sec., f/2.0, ISO 250.
Although not the best lens for this type of shot, the Fuji 35mm equivalent did an admirable job.
Tripod, Fujifilm X100T + interval timer, Fujifilm wired trigger, star walk (iOS) app.
Been wanting to try this for a while. Learned a lot for next time.
It’s actually quite smart to use an app to locate stars before shooting The result is great, I love the fact you did it in black and white. Thanks for sharing!
Next time I’ll center on the North Star. Which will give me the circular star trails.
Great one, North Star will definitely make it amazing. What have you used for stacking?
