My First full shoot with the GFX 50R

#1

So I finally managed to organise a shoot to test out my GFX 50R! It was pretty awesome.
I wrote some thoughts here Shooting with the GFX 50R

I haven’t finished selecting or editing the images yet but wanted to share some here. I shot it all in ACROS and adjusted in capture one on top of that.

1/125sec ISO 640 f2.8
The focus is so shallow on this one i missed the eyes and got the eyebrow.

Great work my friend. How is the image quality and dynamic range in comparison to full frame dslr? I am interested in architecture and commercial work. Thank you

Thanks!
I would say there is a difference in image quality over DSLR, in portraits i find the quality is much better in the resolution of fine details such as eyelashes, i imagine you would see this in details you need in architecture. The dynamic range i haven’t tested much, but in the images of the boxing here i found i could recover a lot from the shadows even though i didn’d need to.

just had a little play in capture. here is a pushed shot for dynamic range. last one at 100% the noise is quite nice i think. it was shot at ISO:400
