I have recently noticed that there is no longer any vibration when the in-camera sensor cleaning is activated. I clearly remember some vibration when “sensor cleaning” appears on screen. Has anyone else experienced this?
I’ve contacted Fuji support and they say that the sensor cleaning on the X-T1 should be very high frequency and not audible.
Yes it use ultrasound to clean up the sensor like on most modern mirrorless cameras. It cleans up loose particles but not sticky ones, pollen or droplets of liquid need a mechanical cleaning (that you can do in pretty much any good camera store).
Thanks for the response Samuel. I must have mistaken it for vibrations from the lens that occurs when the camera is turned off.
